Privacy policy

This page contains a draft of the privacy policy. The final version, compliant with the GDPR and Finnish data-protection law, will be published before commercial launch.

How the program works

A1 Kirjaus is a desktop application. Your bookkeeping data is stored locally on your own computer in a SQLite database file. A1 Kirjaus does not send vouchers, entries or any other bookkeeping data outside your machine without permission.

AI features

When you use the A1 Kirjaus AI assistant, the information required for that specific request, such as the text content of a voucher or the description of a bank-statement line, is sent to Anthropic's Claude model for analysis. The response is returned to the application and the AI suggestion is shown to you. You can accept or reject the suggestion.

Subscription and payment data

When you take out a paid subscription, the payment provider handles your payment details. A1 Kirjaus stores the subscription status, the email address, the selected tier and the billing transactions for activation and billing purposes.
