A1 Kirjaus is built on the open-source Kitsas accounting engine and extends it with Claude AI. The Finnish bookkeeping logic, chart of accounts and VAT rules remain intact; the user experience has been rebuilt.
Your bookkeeping is stored locally in a SQLite file. Vouchers and transactions are never sent anywhere without your permission. When you use the AI assistant, only the information needed for that specific question is sent to Anthropic's Claude model for analysis.
